This question has always intrigued me, and this has nothing to do with my stint at Iskcon.

Mahi Gal, Coke Studio Pakistan, Season 6, Episode 4 (excellent music and lyrics) archived
Thanks to 'Syed Obaid Hasan Raza' for translating, archiving it here as well -
shaam payi muk aasaan gaiyaan
Evening has fallen and my yearnings have reached an end
ni mera chaḍ gaye kaag banera
The crows have flown from their perch above my wall
maape sab sahelaṛiyaan
My parents and all my friends
ni mainoon taa’nah dende tera
Taunt me with my love for you
ho panchhi wi muṛ gharaan noon aande
Even birds come home at the end of the day
kyoon chit naeen karda tera
So why does your heart not urge you to return?
aa sardaar wasa ja jhokaan
Come, my master, and make this dwelling flourish
kadi pa tatṛi wal phera
Come and see this miserable beggar sometime
kade aa ve maahi gal lag ve
Come sometime, beloved, and gather me to your heart
teri deed ghareebaan da hajj ve
Seeing you is the supreme pilgrimage for us poor beggars
haaye ve
Oh!
kade aa ve maahi gal lag ve
Come sometime, beloved, and gather me to your heart
teri deed ghareebaan da hajj ve
Seeing you is the supreme pilgrimage for us poor beggars
kade aa ve maahi gal lag ve
Come sometime, beloved, and gather me to your heart
saabat rakh pareet noon
Let love remain constant
kite pa watnaan wal phera
And come visit your home sometime
ho panchhi wi muṛ gharaan noon aande
Even birds come home at the end of the day
kyoon chit naeen karda tera
So why does your heart not urge you to return?
(sargam)
‘urfi to may-andesh ze ghaugha-i raqeebaan
Urfi, don’t worry about the uproar your rivals create
aawaaz-i sagaan kam nakunad rizq-i gada ra
The barking of dogs does not diminish the humble beggar’s daily bread
(sargam)
kade aa ve maahi gal lag ve
Come sometime, beloved, and gather me to your heart
teri deed ghareebaan da hajj ve
Seeing you is the supreme pilgrimage for us poor beggars
kade aa ve maahi gal lag ve
Come sometime, beloved, and gather me to your heart
nah main sohni nah gun palle
I’m not beautiful, nor have I any great virtues
nah main sohni nah gun palle
I’m not beautiful, nor have I any great virtues
mere ‘aib nimaani de kajj we
Please hide the flaws of this miserable wretch
kade aa ve maahi gal lag ve

Hanuman Chalisa Lata Mangeshkar I Shri Hanuman Chalisa
How fortunate we are to hear Lata Mangeshkar Mataji (she is the same age my mother is). Humbled and awe stuck. Jaya Bajrangbali.
Shri guru charan saroj raj nij mane mukure sudhaari
Varnao raghuvar vimal jasu jo daayaku phal chaari
Budhi hin tanu janike sumirau pavan kumaram
Bal budhi vidya dehu mohe harahu kalesavikaar
Jai hanuman gyan gun saagar
Jai kapis tihun lok ujaagar
Ram doot atulit bal dhaama
Anjani-putra pavan sut naama
Mahavir vikram bajrangi
Kumati nivaar sumati ke sangi
Kanchan varan viraaj subesa
Kaanan kundal kunchit kesaa
Haath vajra aur dhuvaje viraaje
Kandhe moonj janehu saaje
Shankar suvan kesri nandan
Tej prataap maha jag vandan
Vidyavaan guni ati chaatur
Raam kaaj karibe ko aatur
Prabhu charitra sunibe ko rasiya
Raam lakhan sita man basiya
Sukshma roop dhari siyahi dikhaava
Vikat roop dhari lanka jalaava
Bhima roop dhari asur sanghaare
Ramachandra ke kaaj sanvaare
Laaye sanjivan lakhan jiyaaye
Shri raghuvir harashi ur laaye
Raghupati kinhi bahut badhaayi
Tum mam priye bharat-hi sam bhaai
Sahas badan tumharo yash gaave
As kahi shripati kanth lagaave
Sankadik brahmadi muneesa
Naarad saarad sahit aheesa
Yam kuber digpal jahan te
Kavi kovid kahi sake kahan te
Tum upkaar sugreevahin keenha
Ram milaay rajpad deenha
Tumharo mantra vibheeshan maana
Lankeshwar bhay sub jag jaana
Yug sahastra jo jan par bhaanu
Leelyo tahi madhur phal jaanu
Prabhu mudrika meli mukh maahee
Jaladhi langhi gaye achraj naahee
Durgaam kaaj jagat ke jete
Sugam anugraha tumhre tete
Ram dware tum rakhvaare
Hoat na agya binu paisare
Sub sukh lahai tumhari sarna
Tum rakshak kaahu ko darna
Aapan tej samhaaro aapai
Teenhon lok haank te kanpai
Bhoot pisaach nikat nahin aavai
Mahaavir jab naam sunavai
Naase rog harai sab peera
Japat nirantar hanumant beera
Sankat se hanuman chudavai
Mann karam vachan dyan jo lavai
Sab par raam tapasvee raaja
Tinke kaaj sakal tum saaja
Aur manorath jo koi lavai
Sohi amit jeevan phal pavai
Charon yug partap tumhaara
Hai persidh jagat ujiyaara
Saadhu sant ke tum rakhwaare
Asur nikandan ram dulhaare
Ashta sidhi nav nidhi ke dhaata
Us var deen janki maata
Raam rasaayan tumhare paasa
Sada raho raghupati ke daasa
Tumhare bhajan raam ko pavai
Janam janam ke dukh bisravai
Anth kaal raghuvir pur jayee
Jahaan janam hari-bakht kahayee
Aur devta chit na dharehi
Hanumanth se hi sarve sukh karehi
Sankat kate mite sab peera
Jo sumirai hanumat balbeera
Jai jai jai hanuman gosahin
Kripa karahu gurudev ki nyahin
Jo sat baar paath kare koyi
Chutehi bandhi maha sukh hoyi
Jo yah padhe hanuman chalisa
Hoye siddhi sakhi gaureesa
Tulsidaas sada hari chera
Keejai das hrdaye mein dera
Pavantnayi sankat harana mangal murti roopa
Ram lakhan sita sahita hrdaye basahu sur bhoopa

Sandeep Maheshwari's Inspirational Talk
Sandeep Maheshwari's Inspirational Talk
I liked it for a change. This was a video recommended by youtube, and for a change I watched it. At 2 AM, right! Woke up and was looking at mobile for time-pass and happened to watch it.
Here are the take aways.
I liked it for a change. This was a video recommended by youtube, and for a change I watched it. At 2 AM, right! Woke up and was looking at mobile for time-pass and happened to watch it.
Here are the take aways.
- Firtile Land, for which you should have the right believes
- money is on the tree
- enjoy the work, Hardwork is what you are not enjoying.
- To say is easy however to achieve is difficult
- Discover the seed (its easy) (the thing you enjoy is your desire)
- Action
- share
So, I am not sure how much I agree, but the things did make sense. I stay away from all of these so called inspirational talks, this was good. It's in Hindi, although. The biggest take away from the talk was.
"Close your eyes and jump".
We can have hundred of good things in mind, however, at the moment of doing, we falter (he called it paralysis of analysis). Asaan Hai Or its easy is a term he coined, however I have reservations on saying asaaan hai. Some one said rocket since is also easy, and Sandeep started thinking. I think I saw this before, but couldn't recollect where. I get these occasional pauses in my psyche, where it starts to feel I heard or saw these sequence of events, I know more than that moment kind of feeling, hard to describe.
Cheated on road, by a bystander pretending to be blind
So, yes. Again. I was at infantry road, which is one way. A fellow with a blind man's stick was trying to cross a busy junction. I should have guessed there only. However, I went to help him to cross. He started speaking in Kannada. My teammate understood and was reciprocating. He had lost his bus pass and was standing at a corner, where no busses come (I should have guessed now! alas not to be). My teammate gave him Rs. 100. we asked him how he will catch the bus. He said he will go ahead, and he started moving ahead in the right direction, trying to fake he cannot see. Right direction means towards the direction the traffic was going. Strange, how did he figure out! so we waited at a point and watched him to dupe another gentleman with probably the same story.
Sad Sad Sad.
Sad Sad Sad.

A Sad song! He stopped loving her today!
Humbly, the best love songs which will be ever sung.
Lyrics below for my reading
He said "I'll love you till I die",
She told him "You'll forget in time"
As the years went slowly by,
She still preyed upon his mind
He kept her picture on his wall,
Went half-crazy now and then
He still loved her through it all,
Hoping she'd come back again
Kept some letters by his bed
Dated nineteen sixty-two
He had underlined in red
Every single "I love you"
I went to see him just today,
Oh but I didn't see no tears
All dressed up to go away,
First time I'd seen him smile in years
He stopped loving her today
They placed a wreath upon his door
And soon they'll carry him away
He stopped loving her today
You know, she came to see him one last time
Aww, and we all wondered if she would
And it kept runnin' through my mind
"This time he's over her for good"
He stopped loving her today
They placed a wreath upon his door
And soon they'll carry him away
He stopped loving her today
