BCCI is a big bag of scams and people who have dirty hands. Cricketers are over hyped sportsman. No Doubt they are sportsmen, but what do we say to the earnest hockey players? Hockey is officially our national game!
:) with a smile I am watching all around - India will win. I pray India looses, just so people can open there eyes and see this is a game a simple game and not carried away to such frenzies.
I read a guardian reports article and looking at it from a foreigners eye, I feel myself not from India. People, I am sure very few will read this ever (thank goodness) please wake up. Sports should be taken as sports and not foolish frenzy. What just happens, is the businessmen and politicians will use every such opportunity to exploit you.
Hardly few people know the money involved in these matches.

i happened to read your blog today. i am also in a similar mindset about cricket. i always hated this game. its very difficult to change people's mindset. bcci is cleverly playing its cards. cant help it. cricket is killer every other sport in india.
Cricketer's are not overhyped,ok? If Hockey was the most famous then would you say that Hockey player's are over hyped?? No you wouldn't because you are a typical Cricket hater who can't understand this sport and hate it.. if Indian Cricket is doing well in Cricket then it's "killing" other sports and if they don't perform then they are just playing for money so what should they do now?? "money is involved" please.. as if other player's don't get money at all..why don't you haters admit that you just can't understand Cricket that's why you hate it(ignorant ppl)..

I also resent the media devoting so much time to the betting scam - Mister Arnab, I thought you were above all this but I guess the media is part of it.
Considering the number of comments on this blog, I can say that we a still ruled by the Blighty.
